After working in His fathers company “Laporta Construction” since he was 15 years old, Sal Pizzurro decided to start a business of his own. We opened up shop in Downingtown as a handyman service in 1996. After a few months we formed Abel General Contractors. Since then, we have been doing all types of home improvement and repair jobs specializing in Additions, Bathroom remodeling, Basement finishing, and Kitchens. We also do our own plumbing and electrical work.
Real Estate Investing, property management has also been our focus, with over twenty houses and Commercial buildings bought and sold since 2000, all while running a successful home repair / improvement business. In 2006, we started Maximum Home Services, LLC, So named after my son Max. We offer quality work, competitive prices and a great overall customer experience. Abel General Contractors focuses on bigger jobs like additions, basements, bathrooms,kitchens, Etc, and Maximum Home Services, LLC. does everything else. We use both names is our advertising. We also operate a stump grinding business Called Stumpinator.com.
